The agreement between you and HelpMePass. We've kept it readable — but it's still the real thing, so please have a look.
Last updated: 3 June 2026 · By using HelpMePass you agree to these terms.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of helpmepass.ch and its services. They're a contract between you and HelpMePass, so please read them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using HelpMePass, you confirm that you've read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you're using HelpMePass on behalf of someone else, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for them.
HelpMePass is built for university-level students. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. HelpMePass is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to EHL Hospitality Business School. References to courses (such as "BOSC") are descriptive only, to help you find relevant material.
A free account unlocks the first three chapters of every course. A paid purchase unlocks the full course content you bought — crash-course chapters, the question bank, and mock exams as described on the course page at the time of purchase.
Access is a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own study. We may improve, update, or reorganise content over time; we'll aim not to reduce what you've paid for.
Because course content is digital and accessible immediately, purchases are generally final. That said, we want you to feel good about your purchase:
If something isn't working, the content was misdescribed, or you bought by mistake, email us within 14 days at hello@helpmepass.ch and we'll make it right — including a refund where fair.
This does not affect any mandatory statutory rights you may have under Swiss or EU consumer law.
To keep HelpMePass fair for everyone, you agree not to:
HelpMePass is a study aid to help you learn the material — it is not a tool for academic dishonesty, and we build it (including server-side grading) to support genuine learning.
All course content, questions, solutions, text, design, and branding on HelpMePass are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property law. Your purchase grants a licence to use them for personal study only — it does not transfer ownership. You keep ownership of content you submit (such as a tutor bio), and grant us a licence to display it as needed to run the service.
HelpMePass lets students offer tutoring to other students. If you publish a tutor profile, you're responsible for the accuracy of your listing and for any sessions you arrange. HelpMePass provides the marketplace as an introduction service and is not a party to, and not responsible for, any agreement, session, or payment between a tutor and a student. Tutors are independent and not employees or agents of HelpMePass.
We work hard to map our content to real exams, but HelpMePass is a study aid, not a guarantee. We do not promise any particular grade, exam result, or outcome. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HelpMePass will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost grades, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the service. Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You can stop using HelpMePass and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms — particularly the acceptable-use rules — or to protect the service and its users. If we terminate your account without cause, we'll refund any unused portion of a recent purchase where fair.
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Lausanne, Switzerland have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
